As our interactions with our gaming community become more frequent, aside from requests for server merges, suggestions for improving our games, and feedback about updates and events, the question most commonly posed on our website, forum, and Facebook pages is: I forgot my password. How do I login to my account?
Not surprisingly, the answer to this question is quite simple and straightforward. As you see in the screenshot posted to the left, there is a dedicated ‘forgot password?’ link situated in the top right-hand corner of the Tap4Fun homepage, right next to where you can register a new Tap4fun account [click image to enlarge].
Simply visit www.tap4fun.com, click on the ‘forgot password?’ link, and fill in your email address in the space provided. We will automatically reset your password and send an email with a new (randomly generated) password to the address you entered. Once you login to your account, you will be free to change the password to anything you like. Be sure to enter the email address you have linked to the account you are trying to access.
Link Your Account to Facebook or Email — Avoid Losing Everything
We encourage players to link their Facebook account or an email address to their primary Tap4Fun account. This is necessary in situations when a user forgets his/her password or login information. You reset the password, check your email, and simply log back into your game. If you are playing the game using a ‘guest’ account, you will not be able to access your account if you forget your login information and may have to start all over.
In addition, if there is a live email address or Facebook account linked to your account, all of your account information — including ranking, resource and troop count, and alliance information — can be retrieved by our Support team in the case of a lost password, server merge issue, or some other error that affects your account.
