Why isn’t my game working?

Tap4Fun games are frequently being updated to include new features, bug fixes, and improved worlds, characters, and abilities for our players to enjoy. Unfortunately, there are times when users will experience difficulty logging into certain servers or into the game itself. There are also rare instances when something goes awry in-game. These are a natural part of game development.  If we wish to make our games as fun and user-friendly as possible, we have to try new things. When bugs occur, we work to correct them as soon as we can.  Sometimes, this is a process that can take several hours, but rest assured that we want nothing more than to get our loyal gamers back to gaming.

 

How do I contact Customer Support and what is the fastest way to have my support ticket resolved?

The best and most effective way to contact customer support is in-game through the Settings menu:

1. Log into the game as you normally would.

2. Scroll to the far right of the Options Bar and select “Settings”.

3. Select “Help”. (It maybe helpful to read through the FAQ’s to see if there is a solution to your problem.)

4. Select “Contact Us”

5. Choose the proper category for your support problem.

6. Describe your problem in as much detail as possible in the body of your email to support. You can include screen shots from your phone into the body of the text. The more descriptive you are, the easier it will be for Customer Support to help you. *

*NOTE: Please do not delete the information that is generated at the end of the email. It is unique to your phone and support needs it to answer your ticket.

 

How do I contact support if I can’t login to the game?

In the rare instance when users are unable to login to the game itself, the best way to contact support is still in-game. You just have to create a DEMO account:

1. Using the same device you use to normally play the game, create a new account on your preferred server and login to the game. Any username that hasn’t already been taken can be used.

2. Follow the instructions for contacting support in-game as described earlier in this FAQ.

3. Be sure to include your username and the server you play on in the body of the email to support along with a detailed description of how the error occurred. This is crucial because your support email will only include the information from your DEMO account.

 

What should I do if I can’t log into my preferred server?

Please be patient. Usually, these issues are resolved in a matter of hours by the development team. However, if you haven’t been able to login to your server for several days, the best way to contact support is to create a DEMO account on a different server, include your username and server in the support email, and describe your problem in detail.  We want to stress that these issues are usually resolved within a few hours of our development team being made aware of the issue, so if you are having a general login issue after an update or a server merge, please wait a few hours before contacting support.  If you want to see what our gaming community is saying about your problem, please go to our Official Game Forum at www.tap4fun.com/forum/.  You will find helpful information and updates about bug fixes there.

 

What do I do if I can’t remember my username or password?

If you have bound your email to your account, you can use it to login directly from the login page. You can also have your password emailed to you if your account is linked to an email address. If you haven’t linked an email address to your account, you will have to create a DEMO account in the game using the same device you use to access your lost account and then use this DEMO account to contact customer support, following the same steps described earlier in this FAQ.

      If you binded the wrong e-mail to your account, you can create a new account using the proper e-mail then re-bind your game account to the proper Tap4Fun account.     Helllo, after the last merge servers i can not login to your account as a gift. Bifore the merger, my server called Miletus(russkiy05) now I see my account on the server russkiy31, when typing address and password that you assigned to my no avail.           Hi Billy,

          Have you tried syncing back to your account by logging in to your binded account? If you did not bind, you will need to contact Customer Support to find your account manually and re-bind it for you (with this method, you will need to verify that the account is yours with Customer Support)

          You can contact them using the in-game Contact Us link. That will be the easiest way, as well as providing a way to verify your account (assuming you’re on the same device as you were before)

    I updated galaxy legend and now my phone says cant unzip to my sd card and now i cant get the game back at all. My phone doesnt have a sd card just a zim card. Can someone please help.

      Please be patient. Customer Support handles many tickets daily. You should get a response within 24 hours, unless there is a big issue they are dealing with. If you feel as though you have waited too long, try contacting them again. They may have not received your email.

    My phone was replaced. I CANNOT log into game and get support when I select contact you I get a wait for sync screen that stays.. my username was Snowlock, guild AFTERLIFE not sure which server.. logged in with Sean McDuff facebook, which wontvwork, I have a new game, I WANT OLD ACCOUNT.  The one I bought credits for… If this isn’t resolved soon I’m contacting Verizon for full refunds.   I’ve already lost my 11 day login reward bcuz of this…

    I am still waiting for my credits to arrive and my vip level to rise. First time i added credits and i directly went for 2750 but no credits even though the money isnt on my google play account anymore

      The games run better over a strong wi-fi connection, but you should be able to play the game on a data network.

    Does anyone ever read these? I’ve sent several requests for help. Never received a response. Now can’t get back into game. Keep getting “sorry server down for maintenance”. This is crap customer service and awful pr. Even an automated response would be better than this. Do you plan to respond or are you not even there

    Hi i am currently playing your galaxy legend. I have lots of complaint as i have been a paying and consistent customer. In the game, i have loss many credits when your events doesnt work and i loss many galactonites especially rare R4s level 5 ones as when i transfer them from one ship to another. i have made many complains yet your staff Mia never ever help me solved one time. They just simply forget about my complaints. This is very bad for a startup. My server is worlds66. My nick is called super scott. Please do compensate me back with my lost items. So far i lose many credits already. The R4s l lost so far are one light blue R4, one deatheye R4, one fissure R4 and one more is the fury R4. Some are level 4 and 5s. Please help. My handphone is a samsung note 3. Thanks.

    Hi Mod, my SW EliteEdition hung on and was unable to start with black screen even with many attempts to start game. So I deleted game and redownloaded it again. I could not switch to my desired account thereafter. My current in game name is Jumong* with the Cannibals Alliance. Please help me ASAP.     I have been experiencing a bug in galaxy Legend. I get colonized but it does not show that I am, it just looks normal and I get messages in the side bar that my allies are trying to liberate me. also at times I will log in and find a message that I was colonized and right after that message there will be one saying that I liberated myself when I did not.

      Error 1806 means that some of the files did not download properly when you last updated. To fix this, uninstall the game, find a place with good network access, and download the most recent version of the game. That should work.

    Spartan wars the mods are a joke they show up and within 1 hour they banned both my accounts 1 as my name was inappropriate I said I would change it but I can’t do it within the 48hours summer gave me.i asked if I could get a name change and I would change it there and then this request was ignored.the other I said something that was stared(****) can’t remember what I said I got told “please keep the stars in the sky” then I was talking to 1 of my alliance and got banned I Reyes contacting support through game but it will not send message I says error message could not be sent I have restarted app.ipod and cleared cookies and cache nothing helps please give me a number I can call and speak to someone.

    I have a very serious problem. Since your last update on jan. 23, anyone with an iPod 4th gen with iOS6 can not log in much less contact the support team to get this issue resolved. As soon as I log in, I am booted back right back out! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times. What is the issue here?

      The chat system in the game is fairly simple, and it’s easy for your messages to get lost there! If you have any particular questions, you could ask them in other various places that would be more noticeable.

    I have been playing spartan wars elite for past several months and love to play the game on my iphone5 device.
    But there is some problem that I could not login to game and post complaint from there. So I’m writing this mail looking forward for a solution.

    I’m not anymore online with my account, when invite comes a notification where nothing is splashing around and that’s it then, have cache cleared uninstalled but nothing has helped, can any one tell me what I can do except write thieves driver, the problem I have on my s4 and tablet

    Hi Alex/Support team,

    Past few weeks I’ve been playing Galaxy Legends and I must say – I love it. There is just one problem – which is my fault no doubt. I never registered my account, I was playing as Guest. And then I got a problem with my tablet, had to restore it to factory defaults. Obviously my game data and everything with it went to hell.

    My question is – can I go back to my “account”?

    I have all IDs written down, I have my “account” name and World number.

      Your “guest” data may still exist in our servers, and that’s great that you have all the IDs and things written down. But I don’t have access to this sort of information. You’ll have to contact Customer Support using the in-game link or at support@tap4fun.com for this type of information. They’re the only ones with it! Alternatively, you can try to contact the Moderators and see if they can contact CS for you.

    I lost over 400,000 axerider’s. Last night. They just disappeared. Could someone tell me what happened please. I went to the help in the game but it is telling me to configure my email address withing settings. It is already there. What do I do?

    I am posting a huge defect on spartan war.

    For spartan war the is a loop hole whereby players can exploit without paying or spending lesser money to get alot of power and better rewards than a player who pays in capital first strike conquer greece event.

    How they exploit this loop hole.before greece event start.players leave alliances to go solo on conquer greece.

    By going solo a player only face 1 npc troop .he attack and win get few k points and he will get another few 5-10 k points when npc attack him during the 30 minutes round.thus one round a player can easily gather 15000points if he is 200million power and he dont need to spend money.

    But if a player is on a real team of 30 with 200million power same as a player going solo.even he has better tech / god cards and score epic victory he cant get such a scores even if he pays and buy pearls.because when in a team the team faces6-7 npc per round.if he dont spend pearls he wont even get over 10k points for power of 200million he get 3k-4k points a round.

    This huge defect is already a open secret if t4f dont correct this huge mistake and issue a letter of apology to paying players.it would errode all trust of their playing customers.

    Since it a open secret now.if t4f dont do any actions. All players will not pay and go solo for greece event.because they can get more points than usual and better rewards.sooner or later t4f will discover by not sorting this issue all their servers will have very short life span and big reduction in income from servers.

    By knowing a defect and a player exploit it.it is still a act of cheating even though it is a inherent source of defect that the developer had fail to notice.

    I have had numerous problems lately with my Spartan Wars account. The new Honor Winds event was the biggest joke and the worst event I have seen on the server yet. It allows for the server bullies to completely zero another member in only a few minutes since they know the loop hole for being able to continue bloodbath as many times as they like. This event was disastrous and cost me money to be able to protect my city and troops. Even after bubbled I was still hit 3 more times. Due to a glitch, I could not move troops or resources causing me tremendous loses. I am extremely disappointed in this event!!! Do NOT tell me to contact support through the game, cause I have done this and they did NOT even respond to the problems that were reported and just told me to have a nice day! I want my money, troops, and resources refunded from that fiasco as well as the pearls spent to buy bubbles to try and protect my city which didn’t work. I would like a proper response or I will complain to google as the customer service that I have received from t4f so far is the absolute worst customer service in the business. This is ridiculous!!!

      You can find your new server by looking at the in-game announcements, it should notify you as to what server your server was merged into. Your ID and password are things you have set personally when you binded your account.

    After an update today 10/21/14 my galaxy legend app stopped working. It keep showing a screen that says “first time install” and then it pop up cannot unzip file to SD card when I don’t even have one. Tried uninstall and re-install nothing happen. I also tried clearing cache and app data doesn’t help anything. My device is Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I can’t even install the app to log a ticket. So what is up? Anyone else with the same problem?

    I have a few complaints that I would like addressed. First of all the Honor Winds event was the worst one that ya’ll have had!!! There was apparently a glitch in which I couldn’t get my troops to march anywhere even though I didn’t have an incoming attack. Later this ended up causing me to get blood bathed and lose troops that shouldn’t have been there. The glitch even continued until after the 1 min march was over and I still couldn’t send my troops out. Therefore, I ended up spending 50 pearls to replace the shadow rangers I lost. I would like to get my troops and pearls back, seeing as how neither would have happened without the glitch. Also now on occasion a glitch is causing my city to turn green. Also, I have noticed that some of the capitals are now able to be attacked??? Thought this wasn’t supposed to happen until all the capitals were won? And what happens when an alliance that won the capital disbands? Who gets the capital? I have sent several emails to customer service through the game and still can’t get a reply….they have the absolute worst customer service ever!!

    Hello guys. I`ve started playing Galaxy Legend 3 weeks ago and been enjoying it very much till last update.
    Though the change to inventory system is great, it created a significant problem for me nontheless – it happens so that all new modules that i`m upgrading so far showing wrong picture and price regardless of level. For example initial gun module bought for 19,000 and upgraded to lvl 4 (and i mean upgrade not enhance) still shows up like lvl 1 and selling price is 19.000 instead of 95.000. While this module behaves normally in engineering lab (picture, stats and price) its glitching in inventory.
    I`ve tried clearing app data cache and even total uninstall, but had no success resolving it. Could you please lookup the issue, thanks.

      We know about this problem, and are currently working to fix it. For now, you may play another version (such as the Spartan Wars: Empire of Honor version)

      If you binded your account to a registered e-mail, then you can always log back into your binded account to restore your access. If you have not registered, then you should NOT uninstall your game, or else you may lose your progress and not be able to retrieve it. If this is the case, you will need to wait for us to finish fixing the issue.

    Dear Sirs and/or Madam
    I am a regular player of Spartan Wars (and contributor)…..I recently tried your new beta, Reign of War.
    I enjoy the game concepts, but am very frustrated with the lack of tech/customer support. I have sent numerous emails giving specifics on game glitches and bugs. Some of these bugs have been exploited in such a way as to make the game not in any way be equitable to all players. We are losing players daily because of the lack of a level playing field.
    I realize that the game is in beta form, but if you have a game out at all, you should give some minimal support to the game. It would be better to pull the game than to have a game that is so inequitable as to frustrate players to leave and give Tap4Fun a bad name.
    I play in two areas with two different devices. I am Rytec1 in area 3 and I am Expose in area 5. Here are some examples of problems.
    Expose was not allowed to teleport into area 5 at the game start. This leaves Expose outside of faction support. I would prefer Exzpose to be anywhere in area 3, but I never had the opportunity to do so.
    Rytec1 has had from the beginning a top stop on diamonds at 300 daily. Talking to other players shows that this is not the case with them. Although attaining a HQ to level 20, this was made very difficult by the lack of diamonds and the speed-ups , upgrades, and resources the thousands of diamonds not given would have supplied. Also in the recent event (still ongoing at this writing,) the bonus of 4 diamond per help was offered instead of the normal 3. I have noticed my Expose receives the 4, whilke Rytec1 is stuck at 3. As you see, this glitch has cost Rytec1 tens of thousands of diamonds over the game period.
    This last glitch named has been the most frustrating and has ran the most players off. Several players have had glitches where in attacks that they win and take some losses…..the losses actually add to their power. In a recent attack from Zumich in area 5, the attack report showed my army sent to my garage. It also showed a loss of 276k power to Zumich. But Zumich’s power went UP 276k instead of down. There is a double dash (–) in front of his losses in the attack report. Many players (mostly in FRD faction) have used this glitch to gain huge power boosts. I have sent in screen shots from VMAX, TYBS, and Zumich, but have heard nothing from your tech support at reignofwar@tap4fun.com and have sent in reports on tap4fun.com.
    As you can see,
    I have put a lot of thought , time, and effort into the game. In an effort to build and maintain a products that I will consider playing in the future, your tech support must do a better job at listening to your participants and fixing glitches that cause frustration and create unfair game play. Players, like myself, will gladly share their experience……if you would only listen.

      Currently, Reign of War is an unreleased game and the version you are playing is still the beta version. We are working on improving the game and making it balanced for everyone. However, we are not releasing the full version yet until the development is over for it.

      All accounts on the beta version of the game will be wiped when the full version is released. We appreciate you telling us about the glitches and bugs in the game, it allows us to track where the huge problems lie, and let’s us find them and fix them in time for the full release.

      We’re sorry that you are not happy with the beta version of the game, but the entire purpose is so that we can fix the things that the Community finds that are not good for the game.       There is nothing I can personally do about this. However, if you’re having troubles with the competition, I recommend trying to find some friends or allies to help you out. Joining an alliance is always useful! If you feel that the server you are on is too strong, you may want to move to a newer server, where players are not as heavily established.

      Perhaps there, you can become a powerful player yourself!

    I am an active player and have been playing for 14 months. Our world has many inactive players. There is one dominant alliance, (all speak another language) and our alliance of 3 active players. It is absolutely impossible to recruit new members as there are no new players, at least for the past 3-4 months. All this makes frustrating game play for a variety of reasons, least of which inability to do daily cosmic expeditions for prestige points. Can you merge our world with another that has active players so we can recruit or join another alliance? Can you send some new players (who speak English a little at least) so we can recruit new members? I don’t want to jump to another world as I have invested money and time to be VIP5 and level 90, and I don’t want to lose that. I really appreciate your reply and your help. Thanks! ggg

I have purchased pearls on friday at pearl extra 20% event and i have not still got item “pearls” i have received one email saying that pearl purchase sometimes gets delayed no more then 24 hours says tap4fun spartan wars team support… But its been alrdy 3 days after my purchase. Its more then disappointing you know…

      Depending on the game, the servers may be down or there may be some other issues. Make sure your game has been updated (via App Store or Google Play) and that your device has no issues.     I can no longer log into Galaxy legend. An error appears, an error used to say saying something about “labs”. as of today that error is replaced with a “unable to contact server” please either fix this or tell me how to fix this, I have spent money on this game and would hate to see that go to waste!!

    Any idea why the update does not appear in the iOS App Store? The game wants to so the new update, but I get an error labs message. I’ve seen it before, but the update needed to come from the App Store first to work properly.

      However, there may be an issue with your game version. My suggestion is to re-install the game. As long as you don’t delete the meta-data on your phone, you should be able to keep the account data while re-installing.

    Yeah about contacting support for help… I suggest they change their email addy to
    non-support@contact.tap4fun.com, because that is what I have gotten with every problem I have had, no support, no help at all. The current problem just requires me to reset my password on my 2 profiles and they can’t even help with that, not even the courtesy of a reply saying they can’t (or won’t) help me.
